Claudia P. Spiggle 82 , passed gracefully from this life May 31, 2019 with her daughter Kathy, and granddaughter Amber at her side in their home in Poquoson, Va. The family wants to thank Matt Law for his assistance relocating Claudia from a South Florida Nursing Home last fall to her daughter’s home in Va. Thanks also to Mrs. Deborah Gibbs for her expert care and assistance along with Ms. Kendall Black and the wonderful women with Compassionate Care Hospice that made it possible to care for Claudia at home. Born on January 12, 1937 to Mary Louise Brownley Parker and Lewis Claude Parker, Claudia spent her early years in Norfolk, Va., graduating from Maury High School in 1955. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Lloyd Spiggle of Poquoson and later Farmville, Va. Claudia is survived by her children, Edward Bell, Patricia Bell Grover,and Kathy Bell Corbett; step- son, Glen Spiggle; and sister, Betty Parker Hayden. She has ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Claudia and Lloyd especially enjoyed the company of Amber, Andy, Noah, Hannah, Tiffany, Drew, Noah Law, and Braddigan Corbett. Claudia enjoyed working for years at Sandler’s Seafood in Norfolk and later ran Claudia’s B&B Art Framing Shop in Poquoson. Claudia and Lloyd were faithful Christian Church supporters and enjoyed an extensive church family everywhere they lived. John and Nancy Black, with daughter Kendall have offered to help with music and verse for a service for the Spiggles. A celebration of life for Claudia and Lloyd Spiggle will be held at the Poquoson Women’s Club, 9 Cedar Road, Poquoson, Va. on Wednesday, June 5th at 7:00 pm.
