Jacob "Jake" E. Morris

On September 11, 2019, Jacob E Morris, aka “Jake” passed away unexpectedly at the age of 24 years. He was a lifelong resident of Poquoson, VA. Jake will be forever remembered by his parents James and Cathy Morris, his brother James Morris, his wife Rebecca and their son Luke, and his grandmother Jane Parker.  Jake will also be forever remembered by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred Harten Martin Jr., Eunice Faye Martin, and Norm Parker.

Jake was loyal and hardworking. He will be fondly remembered for his kind and humble nature, as well as, his eager willingness to help others.  When he was not working he enjoyed fishing, playing video games, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Central Baptist Church located at 2739 Hampton Highway, Yorktown, VA 23693, on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 4:00 pm. The family will receive family and friends at their home following the service.
