Lester Reed Hogge

Lester R. Hogge, 71, husband of Nell Hogge, passed away in Richmond, Virginia on June, 19, 2019. A native of Poquoson, Lester was a waterman in his youth. Later in life, he went on to work as a commercial contractor in construction for Virtexco.  He was a devoted family man - Lester had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, Cole and Skyler. 

Lester is preceded in rest by his parents, Linwood and Mary Hogge; brothers, Linwood and Robert Hogge.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nell Hogge; daughter, Yvonne Parks and husband Glenn; grandchildren, Cole and Skyler Parks; sister, Jean Adams; brothers, Tom Hogge and wife Marcella, and Billy Hogge.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to MCV for the loving care they showed to Lester. 

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 6:00 PM at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home with a visitation to immediately follow at the funeral home.

The family will be receiving friends at 18 Ridge Road in Poquoson during this time of grieving.
