Margaret Amory Obituary

Margaret Gatling Amory, a long time resident of Hampton passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015. She is survived by her sons Charles R. Amory, Jr. and wife Quinby of Hampton, and Lorenzo D. Amory, III and wife Marsha of Williamsburg; her brother, Edwin Gatling of Newport News; and six devoted grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Historic St. Luke's Church Cemetery in Smithfield, VA by Rev. Samantha Vincent Alexander. Memorial donations can be made to St. John's Episcopal Church in Hampton, Historic St. Luke's Church in Smithfield, or the American Cancer Society.
