Margaret Louise (Freeman) Peters

Margaret “Louise” Freeman-Peters, 77, passed away peacefully on November 21st 2018. Margaret was a native of Norfolk and resided in Poquoson for forty-two years. She was a retired bookkeeper for a local roofing company. Margaret belonged to the Poquoson Yacht Club as well as the Poquoson Senior Citizens Card Club and was a former member of the Talbot Park Baptist Church. Margaret is preceded in rest by her parents, Edward Vincent Freeman and Margaret Susan Freeman; son, David Paul Peters, Jr. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, David Paul Peters,Sr.; son, Paul Edward Peters; daughter, Suzanne Jo Peters-Nehme (Terry Dennis); grandchildren, Amy Sue Nehme and Mark Paul Nehme.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 26th at Emmaus Baptist Church by Pastor Scott Wade. The burial will immediately follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk.The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, Poquoson.
