Nancy Moore Evans

Nancy Moore Evans, 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Poquoson and lived there most of her life. She was preceded in her death by her loving husband William "Donnie" Evans, her parents, Irvin Sr. and Naomi Moore and her son-in-law John Terry. She is survived by her children, Barbara Terry, Teresa Henley and husband Troy, Cindy Kranz and husband Bill, and Doug Evans and wife Sara. She leaves to cherish her memory, her grandchildren, Timmy Henley and Kim, Krista Maquire and husband Mack, Keith Henley and wife Tanya, Heather Evans, Danielle Kranz, Christopher Terry, Brandon Evans and eleven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Floyd Moore Jr and sisters Shirley Ferguson and Lee Evans and a host of family and friends. Nancy lived for her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved being outside working in the garden. She will be missed by all that knew her. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home in Poquoson. Immediately following visitation there will be a celebration of Nancy's life in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Jim Morris. At other times, the family will receive friends at 1 Berwick Street, Poquoson.
