Seth Marcus Bahr

Seth Marcus Bahr left this earth on Thursday December 12 to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ. Seth grew up in Niagara Falls, New York but spent the last 40 years living in Virginia. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Bahr, and his mother Loide Bahr. He will be greatly missed by his father, Rev. Albert Bahr, siblings, Paul Bahr, Joel Bahr, Mark Bahr, David Bahr, and Mary Moehring, wife, Diane Bahr, children , Allison Bahr and Melanie Mesick (Bahr) and extended family and friends.

He was PopPop to his 3 loving grandchildren; Caroline Bahr, Greyson Mesick, and Parker Mesick, who brought him the greatest joy. He was Dad to 2 wonderful daughters, Allison and Melanie. He was a husband of 40 years to loving wife Diane. He was a hard worker for INRI, Logicon, and Northrop Grumman for many years and cared for his employees deeply. He loved helping and watching them succeed in their professions.

Though he was quite sick for the better part of the last 11 years, he tried to start every day new. He enjoyed fishing and golfing and was notorious for being the funny guy. He loved laughing, joking, and sharing stories. The family invites you to share any stories and memories of Seth with them to help prepare a keepsake memory book.

A memorial service for Seth will be held on Saturday December 21, 2019 at 4:00 pm. Emmanuel Lutheran Church will be providing food and beverages for family and friends as they visit with one another after the service.
