Sheila Alexander Allsbrook, 86, a native of Glasgow, Scotland and resident of Poquoson for over 17 years, passed away peacefully with loving family & friends by her side at Riverside Regional Medical Center Friday, June 25, 2010. She was a member of Christ The King Episcopal Church of Tabb and The Order of the Daughters of The King. Sheila retired as an Insurance Sales Agent and later worked as a craft teacher at Ben Franklin Crafts. Sheila was a blessing to whomever or wherever God led her, she will be greatly missed by all.

Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, William Alton Allsbrook; father, William Alexander; her mother & stepfather, Jane Alexander & Larry Grogan. She is survived by her beloved sons, William Lawrence Allsbrook of Austin, TX, Michael Monroe Allsbrook and wife, Hazel of Conway, SC, and Patrick Anthony Allsbrook and wife, Sheila of Poquoson; grandchildren, Wes Allsbrook, Jody Allsbrook, Mark Allsbrook, Shane Allsbrook, Russell Allsbrook, Richie Allsbrook and fiancée, Danielle Forrest, Alicia McManus, Aaron Allsbrook, Tony Allsbrook, Bradley Allsbrook; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sheila Germain and Pat Gamage of Australia; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, 6-7:30 PM, at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, Poquoson and other times at her son's home, 101 Laydon Way, Poquoson. A Celebration of Sheila's Life will be held Monday, 1:00 PM, at Christ The King Episcopal Church in Tabb, by Rev. John J. Lynch. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn in Norfolk.
