Anne Myers Obituary

Anne Frost Myers, 50, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022, from complications after a long fight with diabetes. A native of Poquoson, born September 18, 1971, and graduate of Poquoson High School in 1989, Anne was a current resident of Newport News.
She always had a smile on her face and never met a stranger. She loved joking and just chatting, which made her a great co-worker and representative of the Dollar Tree. Anne was also a registered nurse.
Anne’s favorite pastimes were spending time with her family and cooking. She was inspired by cooking shows and travel shows. She loved learning about other places and cultures and the British TV show, Downton Abbey. Anne dreamed of visiting Europe and especially Ireland and Scotland.
Preceded in death by her mother, Edith Buis Frost; father, James Lindsey Frost; sister, Susan Frost Martin; daughter, Amanda Myers; father-in-law, Henry Myers and Step-mother, Dianne Frost, Anne is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, David Myers, sons, David Frost and Allen Myers; step-daughter, Tabitha Myers; mother-in-law, Betty Myers; grandson, Eli Hewitt aka “The Monkey”; brother, Jim Frost (Judy); sister, Melissa Forrest (Taylor); brother-in-law, Jimmy Martin; sister-in-law, Sharon Richard; nieces, Rebecca Thompson (Aaron), Bethany Martin, Sarah Forrest and Alyssa Richards; nephews, Michael Forrest (Ciara), and Codie Olson as well as several great-nieces, great-nephews and dear friends.
The family will receive friends and help celebrate Anne’s life 1:30 – 3 p.m., Sunday, September 18, 2022.
