Chloe Nicole Koenig, 14, gained her angel wings Thursday, March 30, 2023. A lifelong resident of Hampton, Chloe’s amazing gifts were being very artistic and creative, video games, which she loved to play, and hearing and telling inappropriate jokes. Through her journey with Ewing’s Sarcoma, she earned that right. She loved going on boat rides with her family and absolutely treasured her dogs.
Chloe is reunited in Heaven with her great-grandparents, James Hatton, Mary Hatton, Frank Little, Frankie Little, Hans Koenig, Oliver Cole, Jr. and Mary Cole. She is survived by her loving parents, Jeffrey and Crystal Koenig; human brother, Brycen Koenig, and canine brothers, Finn and Wilson Koenig; grandparents, Renee Little, Terry Cole, George Little, Peter Koenig, and Mike Litton; great-grandmothers, Rose Marie Koenig and Beverly Cole. Chloe also leaves to treasure her memory some of her favorite people in the world, Uncle Allen, Angie, Kylie, Lee, Conner, Iris, Lani, Stacey, Jason, Lucian, Kennedy, Holly, Chris, Kaylee, Braxton, PJ, Julie, Rolland, Ryan, Shaniah, Camila, Leo, Mr. Mcrae, Carol, and all the cancer fighters and families she met.
In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Edmarc.org and D-Feet Cancer (The Dalton Fox Foundation) at dfeetcancer.org.
A celebration of Chloe’s life will be held from 2–5 p.m. Sunday, April 16th at Fort Monroe under pavilion 5, 500 Fenwick Road, Hampton, VA 23651.
