Dealani Zhyne Aguero Acevedo, 1 day, was called home Thursday, September 14, 2023, due to Anencephaly. Dealani was born, Wednesday, September 13, 2023, in Norfolk, Virginia to her loving parents, Dayrelis Acevedo Villegas and Christopher Michael Aguero. She loved to eat and loved listening to island music. Dealani loved to cuddle with her dad and playing tag inside mommy’s belly. She loved showing her tongue and blowing kisses.

Dealani is survived by her parents who are service members; big brother, Jozavier Jamir Perez-Acevedo; grandparents, Jennifer Lujan (grandmother), Alma Villegas (grandmother) and Guillermo Acevedo (grandfather); aunts and uncles, Alexis Gonzalez (uncle), Fransuas Gonzalez (aunt), Jairo Acevedo (uncle), Marie Aguero (aunt), Frankin Aguero (godfather), Zuleiny Acevedo (godmother), Natalie Martinez (aunt) and Chelsea Aguero (aunt).

The family will gather Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home to celebrate Dealani’s life.
