Dennis Gordon Page April 26, 1956 ~ May 15, 2022
Dennis was born to Henry Gordon and Matilda Page in late April and was one of two children. He and his sister Margaret Ann (Coates) were raised in Poquoson. Dennis attended and graduated from Poquoson High School.
Dennis love to ride motorcycles, being on the water and was a hard worker. When he turned 18 he left home to start working offshore on tug boats and eventually became Chief Engineer, most probably because of his attention to detail.
Dennis met and married his much adored beloved wife, Lorenda Jean Cauley. They had five children: Eric Gordon Page, Joshua Thomas Cauley, Chelsea Elizabeth Marie Ann Ogle, Henry Gordon Page II, and Trey Gordon Page.
In his spare time Dennis enjoyed clamming on his boat (Miss Bessie) named after his grandmother whom he loved dearly. He also worked as a carpenter building houses, when he wasn’t on the water.
Between 1999- 2018 Dennis moved to Southern Louisiana to work offshore and that is where he had his last two children. Dennis then retired to Kenton, Tennessee.
Dennis is preceded in death by his wife Lorenda Jean (Cauley) Page.
He is survived in death by his five children Eric Page (Michele), Joshua Cauley, Chelsea Elizabeth Marie Ann Ogle (Andrew), Henry Page II (Katlyn), and Trey Page. Also nine grandchildren: Megan, Britney, and Eric Gordon Jr., Greyson, Landon, and Leyton, Drake, Everleigh Jean and Amity.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2022 in the chapel of Claytor Rollins Funeral Home by Rev. Dr. Patricia Riggs with the burial immediately following in Weston Cemetery.
