Derek Moore Obituary
Derek Elliot Moore of Poquoson, Virginia, passed away on October 13, 2020 after a long struggle with heart disease. He is survived by his beloved wife, Alicia Logalbo, whom he was married to for 19 years and the lights of his life, their children, Nathan Moore who is 12 years old and Rachael Moore who is seven years old. He also leaves behind his brother Dylan Moore, his nieces Maggie Healy and Brittany Dean, his nephew Justin Moore and his grand nieces and nephews: Crystal, Chloe, Ryan, and Bentley. Derek worked for many years as a mechanical engineer and his greatest passions were boating, fishing and riding motorcycles with his family and friends. A private memorial and celebration of life will be held in Derek’s honor in the Outer Banks, one of Derek’s favorite places. Derek will be missed by many family and friends and all will remember him as a devoted husband, father, and friend.
