Doris D. Morrow, 85, passed away on May 7, 2020 at Sentara Regional Hospital in Williamsburg, Virginia due to COVID-19. Born to Henry and Bertha Butts, Doris was a native of Martinsburg, West Virginia and resided in Grafton, Virginia. She worked as a travel agent in Colonial Williamsburg and retired after 15 years in 2002. Doris was a member of the Red Hat Ladies and of Methodist faith. She sang in the Ft. Eustis Church choir as well as other churches in the area.
Doris is reunited in heaven with her parents, Henry and Bertha Butts; brother, Boyd (Buddy) Butts; and sister, Wanda Greenfield.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 67 years, Charles (Bob) Morrow; children, Cynthia Robin Morrow DellaPosta, Charles J. Morrow, Cheryl R. Morrow; grandchildren, Mark DellaPosta, Christy DellaPosta, Angela Morrow, Samantha Call; great-grandchilren, Emma DellaPosta, Mia DellaPosta Rhea DellaPosta, and Hayden Call.
"You were love and will be missed beyond measure."
A celebration of life will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home at 6:00 PM. Pastor Buddy Chapman will preside over the service. In compliance with the Commonwealth of Virginia’s COVID-19 mandates, all in attendance must wear face coverings and adhere to social distancing.
