Elinda Darlene Frazier

Elinda D. Frazier, 72, went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2023. During her youth, Elinda was an active member in Youth for Christ and thoroughly enjoyed riding her motorcycle.

From 1975 to 1978, Elinda served with honor in the United States Air Force, as a squad leader in basic training and as communications center specialist. After discharge from the Air Force Elinda transitioned to a managerial role at Rapides Bank in Alexandria, Louisiana. Later, in 2002, she became a store manager and territory manager at Exxon Mobil.

Beyond her professional life, Elinda found joy in her involvement with therapeutic foster care with Lutheran family services. Crocheting was another cherished pastime for her. She served in the church community, singing in the choir at Poquoson Baptist Church. Additionally, Elinda was a former member of the Skylarks Vocal Group at Chanute Air Force Base in Illinois. Elinda especially enjoyed the soulful music of Patsy Cline.

Elinda is reunited in heaven with her parents, yet her memory is cherished by her loving husband of 44 years, Terry Frazier; children, Juanita Rene Walker and Stephanie Ann Roullet; grandchildren, James R. Walker, Aidan A. Roullet, Tristan B. Roullet, Nicole Vines, Brooke Vines; siblings, Diane Kechler, Clyde Hughes.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Albert G. Horton Jr. Veteran Cemetery in Suffolk. 

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE JAMES RIVER BRIDGE WILL BE CLOSED ON JANUARY 16TH - IF DRIVING FROM POQUOSON/NEWPORT NEWS/YORKTOWN/HAMPTON, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO TAKE THE INTERSTATE.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any monetary donations go to charities to help find cures and treatments for various dementias.
