Jason Andrew Haczewski, known lovingly as “Ski” and “Bo”, passed away on May 28th, 2022. Born to Joseph and Julie Haczewski on July 11, 1984, Jason was a native and lifelong resident of Poquoson. Jason’s lifelong love of the water began when he was a small boy. He enjoyed spending time at the family cottage on the Mobjack sailing his boats and playing with his water toys. He was young at heart, always tinkering and playing with Legos, trucks, and toys. Jason never met a stranger and enjoyed spending time with all his friends. Jason worked in the area as a mechanic at several auto jobs over the years. He was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Jason is reunited in Heaven with his father, Joseph J. Haczewski, Jr.; and his maternal grandparents, Merriel I. and Henry M. Forrest, Jr.
His memory is cherished by his loving mother, Julie L. Haczewski; sisters, Jennifer Casey and husband John, Jolyn Haczewski; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Mattie Haczewski; niece, Kyndall Haczewski; nephew, Andrew Casey; along with numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins
Additionally, he is survived by his soulmate, Rayna Wallace, his “step-children”, Crysany Accristo, Tyler Accristo; and “Grammy”, Lenor George.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Trinity United Methodist Church at 1:00 PM with a burial following at Weston Cemetery in Poquoson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jason’s memory may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 1294 Poquoson Avenue, Poquoson, VA 23662.
