Jimmie Forbes, Sr. Obituary
On Sunday April 24, 2021 Loving Husband and Father Jimmie L. Forbes Sr. 82 passed away at his home surrounded by love ones.
He was born in Covington Virginia and resided in Poquoson since his retirement from the City of Newport News as Director of Vehicle Services.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; mother, Nellie, and brother Earnest Forbes.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda; two sons, Jim Jr. and Timothy Forbes; his sisters, Charlotte Joyner and Joyce Terry, and granddaughters, Ashleigh and Halle Forbes.
The family wishes to express the appreciation and heart felt thank you to all the friends, neighbors, and Church family for their overwhelming support and love.
A private service will be held at a later date.
