Jodie Mazzariello, 51, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021. Born September 2, 1970, and a native of Newburgh, New York, Jodie had been a Poquoson resident for the past 3 years. She loved her Dallas Cowboys football team, activities with her grandchildren, family dinners and simply being around her family.

Jodie is preceded in death by her father, Louis Mazzariello; sisters, Louann Auche and Tina Mahoney, and adopted sons, Charles “Dee” Meador, and Robert Austin Martin.

She is survived by her son, Michael Mazzariello and his wife Kristyn; mother, Rita Lukkarila; grandchildren, Michael Jayden Mazzariello, Alexis Marie Mazzariello, Jordyn Mazzariello, Anthony Mazzariello, Arianna Mazzariello, Nataliya Youmans and Michael Kearns; siblings, Michael Mazzariello, John Mazzariello, Mathew Nieves and Louis Mazzariello, Jr.; nephew, Frank Auche III, Adam Holloway, Jordan Auche, Mason Mazzariello, Troy Martin; nieces, Jonya Mazzariello, Kristy Mazzariello, Rebecca Auche, Chloe Auche, Emily and Carolyn Mazzariello, Cheyanne Macrae and Max Macrae.

The family will gather 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 16th to celebrate Jodie’s life at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home in Poquoson.
