Joseph Thomann

Joseph Thomann, 77, departed this life at home surrounded by his wife and children on October 7, 2022. As a retired Army LTC, he enjoyed spending time on the golf course. He loved his community and was happy to help his neighbors. His greatest joy was finally having two grandchildren whom he adored and loved immensely.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Loretto and Arthur Thomann; sisters, Mary Beth Becker and Theresa Benasi; brothers, Paul Thomann and David Thomann.

Joe leaves behind his loving wife Pamela of 57 years; daughter, Elizabeth; son, Kenneth and wife Kimberly; two grandchildren, Guinevere and Ronin; sister, Patricia Koenig and husband Richard of  St. Charles, MO; sister-in-law, Patricia Thomann; along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 6:00 PM at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home. Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Albert G. Horton Cemetery.
