Joyce Evelyn Smith Wright

Joyce Evelyn Smith Wright, 57, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 22, 2020 in her home in Poquoson. A native of Chesterfield, South Carolina, Joyce worked as a warper in the textile industry, loved the beach, scrapbooking, Bon Jovi and spending time with her grandchildren. She was not an official member of Liberty Baptist Church but enjoyed going with her family when she was able. Joyce could always be found on the softball field supporting her granddaughters throughout their season.
Preceded in death by her parents, Joyce is survived by children, Jennifer Mosteller and her husband Hal of Poquoson, Dustin Arant and his wife Billie, Jennifer Joyner and her husband Derek and Bryan Wright of Lancaster, South Carolina; sister, Deborah Smith of Mt. Croghan, South Carolina; brother, Scott Smith and his wife Darlene of Chesterfield, South Carolina; grandchildren, Savannah and Hailey Mosteller, Timothy and Mathew Hammond and Precious and CJ Joyner.
A celebration of Joyce's life will be held  Saturday, February 29th at 4:00 PM at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, 318 East Main Street, Chesterfield, South Carolina 29709. A visitation will be held prior from 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Joyce's name to Riverside Hospice, 12420 Warwick Boulevard, Suite 6E, Newport News, Virginia 23606 or the American Heart Association.The family would also like to thank the Riverside Hospice group for the love and care they provided during a very difficult time.
