Judie Firth Hogge

Judie Firth Hogge, 80, went home to be with The Lord on July 20th, 2022. Judie was a resident of White Plains, Virginia, for the last 20 years. She was born in Messick, Virginia, to John and Maggie Firth on November 11, 1941. She was a loving mother to her children.  A faithful follower of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Judie was a member of Lake Gaston Christian Life Center. She loved the Yankees, fishing, all children, and sharing her faith with anyone around her. 
Judie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maggie Firth; siblings, Nelson Firth, John Firth, Ed Firth, Anna Fiese, Essie Firman, ET Firth, Shirley Rabon, and Gene Firth; and grandson, Eric Hogge. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bennie Hogge, Jr.; children, Jeff Hogge (Susan), Alan Hogge (Maria), Patsy Insley (Buster), Janet Shepard (Mark), Steve Hogge (Marion), and Bennie Hogge, III (Crystal); grandchildren Jeffrey Hogge (Stefanie), Chris Hogge (Elleana), Johnny Hogge (Emily), Kenny Hogge (Kayla), Michael Insley (Devin), Chelsey Price, Morgan Shepard, Stephanie Hinshaw (Sam), Michael Price, Brandon Price, and Bailey Shepard; great-grandchildren, Riley, Katelyn, William, Sterling, soon to arrive baby Maverick, Marshall, Jolene, Presley, Carter, Cooper, Laila, Charisma, Steven, and Bella; and siblings Queenie Holt and Betty Adams. 
A graveside service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, July 23rd, at Eastern Cemetery in Poquoson, Virginia. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Lake Gaston Christian Life Center in Ebony, Virginia. Friends may call on the family at other times at the residence of Patsy & Buster Insley, 752 Poquoson Avenue, Poquoson, Virginia. Flowers may be sent to Claytor Rollins Funeral Home in Poquoson or to the residence of Patsy & Buster Insley. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Lake Gaston Christian Life Center, 1411 Robinson Ferry Road, Ebony, Virginia, 23845.
