Judith Reid Forrest, 77, passed away on March 8, 2021. Miss Judi was a native of Poquoson. She retired from Fort Monroe and was a paraeducator at Poquoson Elementary School. Miss Judi coached cheerleading, softball, and basketball. Judith’s love for her children is what she treasured the most – not only her children and grandchildren, but everyone’s children.
Judi is preceded in rest by her husband, Carroll Fay Forrest; daughter, Angela Snapp; parents, Cornell and Eleanor Forrest; grandparents; and special aunt, Merle Bunting.
She is survived by her son, Robbie Forrest (Carrie); brother, Buck Forrest (Sandy); sisters, Anne Wilson (Glen), Patricia Perrault; grandchildren, Josh Forrest, Brent Snapp, Bryce Snapp, Travis Holloway, Elizabeth Holloway, Robbie Snapp, Kayla Page; four great-grandchildren; and dog, Curly Fay.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 12, 2021 at Hampton Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM. COVID restrictions apply. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Poquoson Fire and Rescue Squad. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff of Dominion Village at Poquoson for their love and support these past four and half years and to Grace Hospice Care.
