Judy Martin
Called Home on October 18, 2025
On October 18th, Judy was called home to Heaven, surrounded by the love of her family and the peace she so deeply deserved. There, she was joyfully reunited with her beloved husband Raymond B. Martin, a moment she had long awaited. Judy’s life was a beautiful reflection of faith, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Walter B. “Bud” Campbell, and her dog Sugar. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa (husband Chris), and Susan; 5 loving grandchildren, Matthew, Paula (husband Sam), Rachel, Christian (wife Alley), and Noah as well as her first great grandchild, Jaxson (Cowboy). She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Barbara A. Campbell; nephews Michael B. Campbell and Ronnie Horrell; nieces Sherry Campbell Jeffries, Cheryl A. Kelly, and Tracey L. Black.
Judy’s life was a true reflection of faith, kindness, and grace. For many years, she devoted her heart to the Salvation Army Virginia Peninsula, where she found such joy in teaching the Junior Soldiers. With a gentle spirit and a loving heart, she guided so many young lives—planting seeds of compassion and faith that will continue to grow for generations to come. Those who knew Judy will always remember her laughter, her warmth, and her unwavering love for her family. She had a gift for making others feel seen, heard, and cared for. Through every kind word, every listening ear, and every quiet act of service, she shared the very best of herself. Her presence reminded us all that love, when given freely, never fades.
Her family finds comfort knowing that she is reunited with her loved ones in Heaven, watching over them with the same love and care she shared in life.
Services will be held at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, located at 836 Poquoson Ave, Poquoson, VA 23662, on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 1:00 PM.
