Julie Anne Holloway Bryant was born on January 29, 1961, in Hampton, Virginia. A native of Poquoson, Julie was most recently a resident of Gloucester, Virginia. She departed this life on September 4, 2023, surrounded by her family. Julie was predeceased by her son, William Bryant, and is survived by her son, Parker Bryant and his wife Holly, her parents, Norman and Judy Holloway; siblings Daniel Holloway (Nancy), Molly Rivera (Jose), and several nieces and nephews. Julie was a graduate of Poquoson High School, Class of 1979. She earned a BA from the College of William and Mary, M.Ed. in TESOL from Shanandoah University, and Ed. S. from George Washington University. She taught in Northumberland County, Richmond County, and most recently in Gloucester County as Lead ESL teacher. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. A fluent Spanish speaker, Julie loved Hispanic culture and art. She enjoyed many hobbies but was especially fond of painting and genealogy research. Funeral services will be private.
