Kenneth "Kenny" Lewis, Jr. Obituary

Kenneth “Kenny” L. Lewis, Jr., 25, of Yorktown, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2021. Kenny was a dedicated father who adored his 5 yr old daughter with everything he had. Anyone who met him, knew how great his love was for her and that she was his world. He was a talented young man who had a gift for working on cars and doing construction.

Kenny took pride in watching over his mom & spending quality time with her, building & racing hot rods with his dad, nerf gun battles with his nephews, and causing havoc with his sister, Kristina..who was his best friend, or “his rock” as he always said. Kenny was a hands on daddy and uncle who loved trips to the zoo with his daughter, mom, siblings, nieces & nephews. He loved eating his sister Rachel’s baked desserts.. of course, only after the kids had decorated them, admired his brother, Carl as a dad, and treasured his special bond with his brother Corey. He loved his role as “Bubba” to his nephew Easton, who he lived with at times & shared an irreplaceable bond.

Growing up Kenny had a love for sports; especially football & baseball. He cherished the friendships & relationships created through sports & school..starting at just 5 years old. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Kenny & his mom spent their Sundays curled up together on the couch enjoying their loving rivalry against his brother, Carl, who is a fan of the New England Patriots. He inherited his love for the water & fishing from his parents who enjoyed fishing on the beach in Hatteras, where he was surrounded by all his siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles & his grandaddy Jones. He carried that love of fishing on with his “princess” Rylee Paige. Kenny had a love for cars, whether it was showing off his baby girl at the Honda car meets or traveling out of town to Good Guys with his dad. One of his most treasured moments was when he finally was able to drive his dad's 1969 Camaro around the tracks.

Kenny is survived by the love of his life, his daughter, Rylee Paige Lewis. His mother Beth Jones & father Kenneth Lewis Sr. His siblings Kristina Lewis, Rachel Triplett, Carl Reynolds & Corey Pawlowski. His nieces & nephews, Cecelia Reynolds, Chaos Triplett, Easton Peterson, Havoc Triplett & the Peterson twins who he couldn’t wait to meet, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. Kenny had a contagious smile & touched the lives of many who will love & cherish his memory forever.

A private Celebration of Life will be held with his family & friends who loved him very much. For service information, please contact his sister, Kristina or mother, Beth. We look forward to seeing you all & hearing your memories with our loved one.
