Lisa Bryan Leavenworth

Lisa Bryan Leavenworth passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Lisa left this life the same way she lived it- full of faith, with dignity, determination and courage. 
Lisa cared for everyone she met, loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Her interests and life experiences were too many to list. But if you spent any time talking to Lisa you were sure to hear about her childhood on the lake, her beloved dogs, birds and an owl, her plants she affectionately named, her talents of woodworking, glass blowing and playing the guitar, her belief in fitness and a healthy lifestyle, her faith in God and of course her love for Donn, her husband of 24 years.  
Lisa was born on February 25, 1956 to H. Homer Bryan and Emily Kathleen Bryan. She spent her childhood in Virginia and moved to California as a young adult to pursue her passion and dream of surfing on the Pro-Am tour. It was there that she met the love of her life, her husband, Donn. Eventually, they moved back to Virginia, where they lived together until his passing in 2017.
Lisa will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. But she is surely smiling as always,  soaring with the eagles, catching the best waves, riding horses along the beach, playing with her dogs and walking hand in hand with Donn once again.
A celebration of Lisa's life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 6th at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, 836 Poquoson Ave., Poquoson VA 23662 with the burial immediately following at 1 p.m. in Princess Anne Memorial Park, 1110 N.
