Lorraine Latham Obituary

Lorraine Latham, 73, of Newport News, Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025. Born in New York, Lorraine lived a life full of compassion, strength, and unwavering love for her family and friends.

She was married to her husband, Christopher Latham, and was a loving mother to Lauren Kolar, Roy Vega, and Carlos Cruzado, whom she cherished dearly. Lorraine’s greatest joy in life came from being a grandmother to Ayden Kolar and Abigail Kolar, whom she loved beyond measure.

She is preceded in death by her sister Jacqueline Turnbull and brother John Turnbull. She is survived by her loving sisters Margaret Fragoso, Carole Turnbull, and June Gotta, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Lorraine’s life will be remembered for the love she gave so freely and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
