Luann Taylor, age 71, of Elizabethton, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the home of her sister in Bluff City.
Luann was born in Newport News, Virginia, on April 24, 1954, to the late Alfred Coleman Watkins and Rosa Louise Rollins Watkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Jane Little Watkins, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry Franklin Benedum I and Barbara Jo Benedum.
Luann had a deep love for animals and cared for them dearly. She enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time outdoors, especially camping. One of her greatest joys was gathering with family for cookouts. Above all, Luann cherished her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, Bob Taylor, of the home; a sister, Pauletta Reed (Allen) of Bluff City; a brother, Thomas Watkins (Norma) of Longmont, CO; a daughter, Tina King, of Elizabethton; two sons, Daniel Keith Goodson, Jr. (Lisa) of Johnson City, and Jeremy Taylor; her grandchildren, Matthew Reger (Ashley), Cadence King, Payton King, and Coleman Phillips; and her great-grandchildren, Landon Reger, Coen Reger, and Ashton Reger.
Private services for Luann will be held at a later date.
