Madelyn Finni Peck

Madelyn Finni Peck, 79, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023. A native of New Bedford, Massachusetts, Madelyn had been a resident of Yorktown for the past 49 years and she has lived on the Peninsula since 1964. She retired in 1998 from Sears & Roebuck as a sale manager and working the “Flying Squad” (working all departments as needed). Madelyn enjoyed quilting, sewing, going to lunch with her quilting friends, camping, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Madelyn leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 61 years, John Allen Peck; son Gary D. Peck and his wife Sherri of Smithfield; and daughter, Wendi D. Burns; grandchildren, Brandon and Brooke Burns, Melissa Peck Davis and her husband Justin and their children, Tyler, Trenton and Alaila; nephew, Emmit D White, wife Ann White, children Josh, Molly, and Joel as well as many other loving relatives and dear friends.

A celebration of Madelyn’s life will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023, at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home in Poquoson.
