Mary Lou (Crane) Giles

Mary Lou passed away at her home in Poquoson on Aug 31st, with family members present. Mary Lou was born in Dry Fork, Va, which is a small community located between Danville and Chatham, Va. and eventually moved to Hampton before moving to Poquoson. Durning her many visits to Chatham, Mary always wanted to ride through Dry Fork to revisit her childhood. She enjoyed traveling to Alaska, Europe, Bermuda, Hawaii, also making the Island of Terceira in the Azores her favorite home for several months in a beautiful home overlooking the Atlantic.
She leaves behind many precious friends, and family members including daughter, Dale Baker of Poquoson and son, Ronald Giles of Clinton, MD. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leeland; sons, Buddy and Connell Giles.

The family will receive friends 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 6th at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home with a brief service immediately following. At the request of her family the burial will take place privately at Peninsula Memorial Park.
