Mary Susan Rollins Pendergrass, lovingly known as Susan, was born on February 11, 1944, and passed away on February 25, 2026, surrounded by her children, her devoted husband, and her beloved cousin, Helene Graham Hogan, whom Susan lovingly described as her sister and best friend. Susan was a lifelong resident of Poquoson, a community she dearly loved.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Graham Rollins and Dixie Rollins.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 55 years, Wayne Pendergrass; her children, Wesley Hogge (Debbie) and Jennifer Pendergrass; and her treasured grandchildren, Ann LeBleu White (Justin) and Jacob Jones.
Susan proudly dedicated 30 years of service to the military as a Protocol Officer for the Joint Warfighting Division, a role she valued deeply and carried with great pride. In addition to her government service, Susan owned and operated the popular sterling silver business, Silver Moon, alongside her husband and daughter, a venture that brought her great joy and connection to the
community.
Susan loved to travel, but more than anything, she loved being surrounded by family and friends. Her home, her laughter, and her generous spirit created countless memories that will be treasured
by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her warmth, her devotion to those she loved, and the happiness she brought to every gathering.
An open house celebrating Susan’s life will be held at her home, 313 Powhatan Drive, Poquoson, on Saturday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
