Matthew John Dunmire

Matthew John Dunmire, 31, a resident of Cleveland, OH and a former resident of Smithfield, VA, passed over to join his beloved Grandmother, Bernadine Clara Dunmire on March 8, 2021.

Matthew was a free spirit who loved music, loved playing his guitar, and loved being with his friends. He will forever be remembered in our hearts.

He is survived by his two children, Caleb and Adriana Darlas; his Mother, Tommie Dunmire; his Father, John McQuillen; his Aunts, Kristen Burford and Sandra Pollock; his Uncle, Daniel Dunmire; his Grandfather, Thomas Dunmire, and all of his Cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Matthew’s Life will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 27th at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home Chapel, 836 Poquoson Ave., Poquoson, VA with Pastor Buddy Chapman officiating. The chapel is limited to 35 people per service and multiple services will be performed should attendance warrant it. Services will be broadcast on FM 91.3 for those immediately outside the funeral home.
