Melanie Ann Baldwin

Melanie Ann Baldwin passed away on July 28, 2022. She was born on March 15, 1964 in Hampton, Virginia. Melanie is preceded in death by her father, Robert H. Forrest Jr; her grandparents Alma and Tom Messick, and Virginia and Robert Forrest.
 

Her memory is cherished by her husband of 30 years, Gary Allen Baldwin; two daughters, Megan Elizabeth Baldwin and Amy Nicole Baldwin Walker (Brent); her mother, Carol M. Forrest; her grandson, Dominic Allen Walker; and her brother, Robert B. Forrest.
 

Melanie loved spending time with her family and friends. She recently became a first-time grandma when her grandson, Dominic, was born earlier this month and cherished spending time with him. Melanie was a state gymnast and graduated from Poquoson High School in 1982. She loved spending time out in the sun, listening to music, and enjoying dinners and game nights with her family. Melanie is loved by so many people and will be dearly missed.
 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd, at 5:00pm with a Celebration of Life service following immediately after at 6:00pm at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home in Poquoson, VA.
