Michelle Quinn Peterson

Michelle Quinn Peterson started the second phase of her journey on Monday, May 17, 2021.  Born in Washington, North Carolina and raised in Poquoson, Virginia, she graduated from Poquoson High School in 1986.  Later she married Kirk Peterson and became a Navy wife with most of their stations either in Norfolk, Virginia or Pensacola, Florida.  Michelle decided to remain in Pensacola where she held many banking positions.

Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents Essie and Charlie Whitley, and Mary Anne Quinn Lynch and Harold Quinn.  She is survived by her children Meghan and Tyler Peterson of Pensacola, Florida, parents Esther and Harold Quinn Jr., her brothers Shawn and Robert Quinn, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews in North Carolina, Virginia, and Louisiana.

Michelle requested no funeral or viewing.  As her lifestyle dictated, she did not want sad faces.  Instead, she requested a celebration of life where joking, laughing, and good times would occur.  This will be scheduled later in the year.  In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the American Cancer Society or Operation Smile.
