Norman Nachbaur, a retired Army Veteran of 24 years and retired United States Postal Carrier of 26 years, passed away unexpectedly on September 5, 2020 at the age of 80.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic it is so unfortunate that we will not be able to have a celebration for life in honor of Norm.
Norman is survived by his loving daughter, Lisa A. Baker and great grandson/son, Kai M. Baker. He is predeceased by his loving wife Barbara J. Nachbaur and granddaughter Michelle Baker. His cherished furbabies Boomer and Keanu will also miss his presents.
Norm was born California and after traveling the world with the military and his beloved wife; they found their home in the small town of Poquoson, Virginia. Norm was admired by so many for his devotion and the determination he had for his family. Since Kai began sports at the age of 5 Norm made sure he was present for every game, every tournament, always with a smile on face and cheer in his heart.
One of his passions was to be the man at the field taking hundreds of pictures capturing those special moments during football, wrestling, baseball, and basketball that we all will forever be so grateful for. No matter the circumstances or obstacles he faced, Norm always showed up and with a smile on his face and made it his job to put a smile on the faces of everyone he came in contact with.
Norm will be missed by so many, but no one will miss him more than his family, his daughter, Lisa Baker and son (great grandson), Kai Baker.
