In a special honor, he assumed the role of the 2022 Grand Marshal at the Virginia Duals. In his leisure time, he found joy in hunting and fishing, and his exceptional craftsmanship and friendship earned him the title of "Shop Buddy #1" at Island Custom Woodcrafts.
Paul is reunited in heaven with his wife, Lillie Benton; his parents; and sister, Marian Morgan.
His memory is cherished by his daughter, Paulette Holloway and husband Kenny; grandchildren, Wesley Backus and wife Tina, Forrest Holloway and wife Kelly, Jamie Holloway, Danielle Griffin and husband Kevin, Justin Holloway and wife Chelsey; great-grandchildren, Brayden Backus, Mackenzie Holloway, Jayce Backus, Chase Holloway, Bailey Holloway, Hunter Brown, Heidi Holloway, Payton Holloway; niece Marissa Lovingood; nephews, Steve Jackson, Barry Jackson, and Allen Jackson, his faithful shop dog Kona, and all of the youth of Poquoson who called him Grandad.
