Paul Fay Lindsay, Sr., 88, a lifelong resident of Poquoson, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
He attended Poquoson High School in 1951 and retired from Newport News Shipbuilding in 1995 after 37 years of service. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, J.O.U.A.M. Council #66 and a Life Member of the Poquoson Volunteer Fire Company.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents Maggie and Carey Lindsay, brother James Thomas “Jimmy” Lindsay, sister Iris West, son Timothy Lindsay and infant son David Lindsay. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gloria Diggs Lindsay; a son, Paul Lindsay, Jr. and wife, Karen; a granddaughter, Kristen Jones and husband, Thomas; grandsons Timothy Lindsay and Joshua Lindsay; two great-granddaughters Lauren and Meagan Jones; and his niece, Debbie Mewborn.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9th, at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home in Poquoson officiated by Rev. Dr. Patricia Riggs. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service. A private burial will be at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton at a later date.

“Bo” enjoyed his bluegrass music and leaves us all to cherish the memories of the many stories he loved to tell.
