Pearl Tignor Obituary

Pearl Loving Tignor, 85, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021. She moved to Poquoson from Caroline County in 1958 with her husband Bobby. She co-founded Pearl's Market - Landscaping and Produce with her husband and was an active member in the community volunteering with numerous groups and organizations. When she wasn't volunteering or working, she spent her time playing competitive softball as well as bowling.
Pearl was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, her parents, Fred and Bessie Loving, as well as multiple brothers and sisters. She is survived by her 2 sons, Mike Tignor and wife Denise, Barry Tignor and wife Malanie; her 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret and Kitty and brother Pete; and numerous family members, too many to mention.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

 

A service will take place Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home at 6:30 PM. Due to COVID restrictions, attendance is restricted and those who enter the building must wear a mask and maintain social distancing. 

Services held at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home will be broadcast on an FM radio station. HOWEVER,  you must be within 1000 feet of our building. Anyone who is not able to attend in person may sit in their car and listen to the entire service from our parking lot or across the street at Tabernacle United Methodist Church's additional parking closest to our funeral home. The station is 91.3 FM unless directed otherwise.
