Penny Mingee Crawford

Penny Mingee Crawfords’ Journey continues Eternally in Heaven. Penny went to be with the Lord peacefully during her sleep on December 16, 2023. Penny is survived by her devoted husband Dearl Crawford of 52 years, her loving daughter, Rebecca Gail Crawford Anderson (Craig Anderson) and her caring son, D J Crawford. Penny loved dearly her four grandchildren, Chase Crawford, Gavin Anderson, Gage Crawford and her sunshine Camdyn Anderson. Penny, was born on October 29, 1950 in Hampton Virginia, to the late Margaret L. Mingee and Bevely L. Mingee Sr. Penny is survived by a sister, Phyllis Haynes, brothers, William J Mingee, George Mingee, Carl Mingee, and Stephen Mingee. Penny was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Chadwick, Evelyn Mingee, and brother, Bevely Mingee Jr. In addition, surviving nieces, Kerri Haynes, Danica Mingee Rose; and nephew's, Zachary Haynes, Trey Mingee, Adam Mingee, Robert Mingee and Dustin Johnson. Penny is a member of Liberty Live Church where she served faithfully in leading bible studies, teaching Vacation Bible School, home group bible studies and most importantly telling everyone about Jesus.  Her Life Celebration will be held to honor “Pennys Journey” on Saturday January 6, 2024 at 2pm. The Celebration will be in the Chapel of Liberty Life Church with our Family, Friends and Food Gathering immediately following.
