Richard Lee Ashley

Richard Ashley passed away on Saturday, 9/30/23, following a short battle with cancer. He loved to hunt and fish with his brothers, cousins, and his brother-in-law Gary. He was quiet and bit of a loner, but would definitely tell you how he felt, if you made him mad. He will be missed by his family and friends and good neighbor, Doris.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Emmit and Margaret Ashley, and brother, Billy Ashley. He is survived by his children, Ember Ashley and Richard Ashley, Jr.; brother, Darrell Ashley (Rebecca), sisters, Patricia Lawson (Gary), and Maricia Piehl (Rob) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A celebration of Richard’s life will take place at later date.
