Richard "Scotty" Scott Lovejoy, II

Richard “Scotty” Lovejoy, II, 31, passed away due to complications of diabetes. He was a Poquoson native and lived in Yorktown for the last year. 

Scotty had a profound affection for classic cars, construction projects, and video games. His most recent occupation was with his family's business, N.W. Perdue and spent his free time playing video games, tinkering with cars, and construction work. 

Scotty is reunited with his maternal grandparents, Robert and Patsy Butler. 

His memory is cherished by his parents, Richard Lovejoy, and Tracie and Nick Perdue; siblings, Thomas Depew, James Lovejoy, Nicholas Perdue, Katie Perdue; grandmother, Esther Perdue; and his beloved cat, Opie; along with many loving aunts, uncles, and extended family. 

A gathering of friends and family will be held at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 11:00AM-1:00PM. Memorial contributions may be made P.A.W.S (Poquoson Animal Welfare Sanctuary).
