Shirley Mae Kyllo

Shirley Mae Kyllo, age 92, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2020. She was born in Sioux City, Iowa, to Elmer and Theresia Peterson.  She married John Junior Kyllo on June 9, 1948, who preceded her in death.  After working several years on the farm, John and Shirley felt called into the ministry.  Shirley was active in working alongside her husband in the life of the church at the several parishes they served.  She loved to spend time working on her artistic talents as an artist working with oils, chalk, and pencil. She loved to be involved with art shows, but was happiest when she could use her artwork in her ministry for the church.  Shirley is survived by her 3 children Kathy Hudgins, Douglas Kyllo, and Lisa Hathaway, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts, but it is a blessing that she has reached her ultimate goal and is forever in the presence of our Lord and Savior.
