Teresa Joyce Coberly

Teresa Joyce Coberly was born on May 15, 1964, and passed away peacefully on Monday, July 20, 2026, at the young age of 62.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Coberly, and two of her brothers, Tony Coberly and Brad Coberly.

Those she leaves behind with broken hearts are her brothers Jimmy Coberly, Billy Wilkerson, John Coberly, sister Mary Biggerman and sister by choice Hazel Haas. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Brett, Justin, Alexandra, Alysa, Franklin, Daisy, Will, Jim, Eric, Dee, Georgia, Sophia, and Harper; as well as many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Teresa also had a passion for collecting. She especially loved Unicorns and Beanie Babies, building a collection of cherished memorabilia that reflected her fun-loving personality and brought smiles to those who visited her. Her collections were more than keepsakes—they were a reflection of the joy she found in life's simple pleasures.

Above all else, Teresa treasured her family and friends. Whether sharing a meal, celebrating holidays, or simply enjoying each other's company, she found her greatest happiness in spending time with the people she loved. She had a gift for making others feel welcome and cared for, and her laughter and loving nature will be remembered by all who knew her.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, Teresa's love, kindness, and the countless memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her legacy of compassion, generosity, and devotion to family will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home. In keeping with Teresa's warm and welcoming spirit, guests are encouraged to dress comfortably. Friends and family are also invited to bring a dish as they gather to celebrate her life, share memories, and honor the wonderful woman she was.
