Thomas Craig Brauer, age 52, passed away on December 18. A lifelong Poquoson native, Craig was known for his easy presence, contagious laugh, and unmistakable sense of humor.
Craig found joy in the simple moments—sitting by the fire while watching sports or anything that made him laugh, spending time on the boat, and being outdoors. Though he enjoyed hunting, it often became an opportunity for a quiet nap. Most of all, Craig cherished time spent with his loved ones. His outlandish humor, unforgettable stories, and many “adventures” will be remembered and shared for years to come.
Craig is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Caitlin Brauer; his girlfriend, Rikki Webb; his sister, Shannon Jarvis; his father, Randy Brauer; his father-in-law, Arthur Bristow; his uncle, Chris Brauer; Kathy Brauer; and many others dear to his heart.
A celebration of Craig's life will be held on Saturday, January 17, at 2:30 p.m. at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home.
Arrangements and heartfelt guidance through Claytor Rollins Funeral Home.
