Tommie Lynn Dunmire

On November 18, 2021 Tommie Lynn Dunmire, 54, left all of her pain behind and passed over to reunite with her beloved Mother, Bernadine, and Son, Matthew who predeceased her. Born in Portsmouth, she grew up in Norfolk and attended Norview High School. After spending several years of her adult life in various locations around the country, she returned to the Tidewater region. She was formerly employed at H. H. Hunt Homes, responsible for procuring construction permits. She leaves behind to keep her memory her Father, Thomas Dunmire (Janet); her Brother, Daniel Dunmire; Sisters, Sandra Pollock (Tom) and Kristen Burford (Jeremiah); Nephews, Mitchell, Bennett, Ayden, Hunter, and Konrad; Nieces, Julie, Madison, and Noelle; her longtime friend, Theresa James; and former longtime companion Ray Shackelford. There will be a private family Memorial gathering at a later date. Claytor Rollins Funeral Home is handling arrangements. May her Soul Rest In Peace.
