Vernon Harold Page, 72, departed this life on May 2nd after a long battle with heart disease. Vernon was born August 1st, 1949. Vernon was a native and lifelong resident of Poquoson, Virginia.
Vernon spent his career in the banking industry as a bank manager, loan officer, and later in life Vice President working at several different banks. Vernon was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He grew up on Poquoson Avenue directly across from Poquoson Middle School which was the High School when he graduated in 1967. Vernon married his high school sweetheart with whom he shared three boys. When his boys were young, Vernon enjoyed attending their various athletic events and even participated as an assistant coach for youth league football.
