William "Bill" Kranz Jr, 71, passed away on July 29, 2021. A native of Butler, PA, he resided in York County, VA. Bill was an avid baseball fan, having pitched for the minor league team to the Milwaukee Brewers. In his free time, he could be found in his garage working on hot rods and building transmissions. Some of Bill's favorite hobbies were drag racing, fishing, and watching football. The love of Bill's life was his loving wife Cindy and his five daughters.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Helen Kranz Sr. and his brother Wesley Kranz. He is survived by his wife Cindy Kranz of 30 years. His five daughters, Crysie James and husband Mike, Shelley Kranz, Jessica Kranz, Stefanie Kranz and Danielle Kranz. His sisters, Gwen Rector, Debbie Hogge and husband Wesley, Cindy Kranz, Pam Gaghich and husband George. He is survived by one brother, Mike Kranz. Sisters-in-law, Barbara Terry, Teresa Henley and husband Troy, brother-in-law Doug Evans and wife Sara, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, August 2, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Claytor Rollins Funeral home, 836 Poquoson Ave, Poquoson, VA, 23662. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. At other times, the family will receive friends at 1 Berwick St, Poquoson VA.
